A.4. on arrival

xv. Travelers from specified at-risk countries [as mentioned in paragraph (iii) above] will follow the
protocol as detailed below:

  • Sample submission for COVID-19 testing * post-arrival at the point of
    arrival (paid on your own). These travellers will be forced to wait for their test.
    results at the airport of arrival before departing or taking a connecting flight.
  • If the test is negative, they will follow home quarantine for 7 days. test again on
    on the 8th day of arrival in India * and if not, additional self-monitoring of your
    health for the next 7 days.
  • However, if these travellers test positive, their samples must be
    sent for genomic testing at the INSACOG laboratory network.
  • They must be managed in a separate isolation facility and treated in accordance with the disposition.
    standard protocol below, including contact tracking mentioned in paragraph (xiv).
  • The contacts of such a positive case must be maintained under an institutional regime
    quarantine or in-house quarantine strictly monitored by the interested party
    State Government in accordance with the established protocol.
